At Gifford Apartments in Newmarket, our design addresses weathertightness defects while enhancing the building’s character, comfort and long-term performance.
The façade and roof replacement draws on the original architecture, introducing a refined neo-classical approach. Non-combustible aluminium panel cladding accommodates external insulation, while new windows and doors, roof and deck membranes, balustrades and deck finishes create a coordinated upgrade to the building envelope.
Our approach brings technical remediation and architectural design together, with internal passive fire upgrades and targeted compliance improvements supporting a safer, more resilient building for residents.
